The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is pleased to announce that Professor John Grant McLoughlin of the University of New Brunswick is the recipient of the 2013 Adrien Pouliot Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to mathematics education in Canada. The award will be presented at the 2013 CMS Winter Meeting in Ottawa.
Canadian IMO team turns in world class performance (Jul 30)
Six Canadian high school students are celebrating their 11th place success upon their return from the 54th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in Santa Marta, Colombia. Each student earned a medal for Canada after competing against over 550 students at the world’s most challenging high school level mathematics competition.
