Registration

Please note, all meeting attendees (e.g. participants, session organizers and speakers, CMS members, and students) are required to pay the appropriate registration fee.

The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) strives to keep registration fees as low as possible. However, there are significant operational costs to stage each semi-annual meeting which are subsidized through grants and other CMS sources.

Registration fees are the same in both Canadian and US dollars. Registrants outside Canada will pay the same fee in US$. Payment may be made by VISA or MasterCard.

CMS has changed their policy so you are now required to register for the meeting before you can submit an abstract. The online abstract submission system enables this feature through a cross-verification with the meeting registration database.

Advantages of Pre-Registration:

  • Your name appears on the list of participants on the meeting web site

Refund Policy
Participants wishing to cancel their registration must notify the CMS (meetings@cms.math.ca) in writing by December 1 to receive a refund.
