Theme I: Comparison of experiences

Presentation of what is done in the different regions of the country and abroad. Plenary activities only.

Theme II: Critical thinking

This theme is on curriculum: "Mathematics to stimulate the brain: mathematics to enable students to function and innovate in the modern world" Format: plenary lecture, plenary response, then working groups.

Theme III: Mathematics in the modern school: goals and challenges

Theme III comprises a panel on the many issues in schools, then working groups.

Theme IV: Teachers' education and development

Format: plenary lecture, followed by working groups

Theme V: Summing up with a vision for the future

How to bring the ideas of the Forum to the public. Going to the second Forum. Format: all activities are plenary. The morning starts with a panel.
