The Department of Mathematics at the University of Western Ontario invites applications for one or more postdoctoral positions in areas related to homotopy theory, including applications to other fields. Each position has a two-year term with a flexible start date of July 1, 2012. The salary will be $42,000 CDN per year plus a tax free research fund of $1,500. The positions will involve teaching two half-courses per year, in addition to research. The successful candidates will work under the supervision of J.F. Jardine or D. Christensen, and should have completed a Ph.D. in July 2009 or later. The filling of these positions is subject to budgetary considerations.
