Three Tenure-Track Positions

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Memorial University of Newfoundland is undergoing a process of faculty renewal and will be making a number of tenure-track appointments.
The Department invites applications for the following three tenure-track Assistant Professor positions:

  • Numerical Analyst. Position Number: VPA-MAST-2007-001. Closing date - September 10, 2007.
  • Algebraic Topologist. Position Number: VPA-MAST-2007-002. Closing date - September 10, 2007.
  • Statistician. Position Number: VPA-MAST-2007-004. Closing date - August 27, 2007.

Applicants must have an earned doctorate and an excellent publication record. Candidates should have some teaching experience and the skills required to become an excellent teacher.

Duties for the position include graduate teaching and supervision; undergraduate teaching and the development of a vigorous research program. For more information see http://www.math.mun.ca.
