Mathematics – Assistant Professor

The Faculty of Science at Brandon University invites applications for a 5-year term position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science in the area of Mathematics. The Department offers 3-year, 4-year, and 4-year honours degrees in Mathematics (and similar degrees in Computer Science).
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Mathematics is required at the time of appointment or shortly thereafter.
Responsibilities: The candidate hired will be expected to successfully teach a wide range of undergraduate courses at the first, second, third, and fourth year levels in Mathematics, including introductory statistics, and to maintain an active program of research in an area compatible with members of the Department.
