The University of Calgary invites applications for at least one tenure track position, at the Assistant Professor level, in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, beginning July 1, 2002.

Outstanding applicants from all areas in Mathematics will be considered, but the Department is particularly interested in research expertise in Discrete Mathematics, Cryptography, Analysis, and Biomathematics. Applicants interested in the computational aspects of these areas are especially sought. The successful applicants will have access to the Multimedia Advanced Computation Infrastructure (MACI), a collaborative initiative establishing a new, world-class scientific computing facility in Canada.
