Individuals residing outside Canada

Often mathematicians living outside Canada are members of other national mathematical societies. The CMS has reciprocal and affiliate arrangements with many such societies and invites members of those societies to join using the rates below. The MAA, is not a reciprocal society, but is an affiliate, so it has its own rates.

Periodical Publications for Members

All Members of the CMS are eligible for significant discounts in the regular rates of all CMS publications. In particular, our regular periodicals, including the research journals Canadian Mathematical Bulletin and Canadian Journal of Mathematics, are offered with substantial savings only available to members.

Mathematical Reports, published by the Academy of Science (Royal Society of Canada), is also available to CMS members.

Tax Deductions

A membership receipt will be issued and may be claimed on your Canadian tax return as professional fees. A separate income tax receipt is issued for added donations of $10 or more, and may be claimed on your Canadian tax return as charitable donations.
