Description of Activity:
Math Enrichment Centre at Carleton offers enrichment courses and programs for students in grades 3-12.
Assessment of Effectiveness:
In 2015/16 we offered 9 different math enrichment programs which run weekly throught the academic year. The total enrollment was 450 elementary and high school students.
In 2016/17 we have increased the number of offered courses to 11, with several programs running multiple sections.
Future Plans (if any):
We have plans for further expansion, perhaps offering a course on "Mathematics and Art".
Financial:
The Endowment Grant ($200) was used to partially cover the cost of printing of promotional handouts.
