Francois Lalonde - Applications of Quantum cohomology to some fundamental problems of dynamics

I will first present briefly the origins and the construction of Quantum cohomology, and I will then indicate how the fundamental group of Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms acts on that cohomology. This leads to new invariants attached to groups of diffeomorphisms, and has immediate applications to the topology of Hamiltonian dynamical systems.
