Eric L. Grinberg - Operational properties of the cosine transform

The brightness function on the space of convex bodies can be extended to give an integral transform on function spaces that imbed convex bodies. The mapping properties of this transform can, in turn, be interpreted to give information about the original bodies. We will describe such operational properties and discuss possible applications.
