How I learned to teach statistics

David Moore wrote, a decade ago, that ``mathematicians should not teach statistics''; and it would be fair to say that many mathematicians would reply ``And we don't want to!''. However, some mathematicians, (including myself,) find themselves thrust by circumstances beyond their control in front of a statistics class. In this talk, aimed both at the morbidly curious and at those who might find themselves in the same situation, I want to talk about what it's like, and about how to not just survive but actually enjoy it.
