However, there are significant operational costs to stage each semi-annual meeting which are subsidized through grants and other CMS sources.<\/p><p>Registration fees are the same in both Canadian and US dollars. Registrants outside Canada will pay the same fee in US$. Payment may be made by VISA or MasterCard.\u00a0<\/p><p>CMS has changed their policy so<strong> you are now required to register for the meeting before you can submit an abstract.<\/strong> The online abstract submission system enables this feature through a cross-verification with the meeting registration database.<\/p><p><b>Advantages of Pre-Registration:<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Your name appears on the list of participants on the meeting web site<\/li><\/ul><p><b>Refund Policy\u00a0<\/b><br \/>Participants wishing to cancel their registration must notify the CMS (<a href=\"mailto:meetings@cms.math.ca\">meetings@cms.math.ca<\/a>) in writing by December 1 to receive a refund.<\/p><p><b>Registration Fees<\/b><br \/>Registration fees are the same in both Canadian and US dollars. and make them attractive for students and researchers to attend.<\/p><p>The mini-courses will be held on Thursday December 3rd, before the public lecture, and include topics suitable for graduate
