Limited-Term Position in Mathematics

Applications are invited for a 9-month limited-term appointment at the Assistant Professor or Lecturer level in Mathematics at St. Francis Xavier University to commence August 15, 2010, subject to budgetary approval. Applicants should hold or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Mathematics or closely related field. The successful candidate should be willing to teach Introductory Statistics. Preference will be given to individuals who exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Consideration of applications will begin on February 1, 2010 and will continue until the position is filled.
