The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track position in the area of Analysis (code: AN10) at the Assistant Professor level effective July 1, 2010.

The Department is seeking candidates with established accomplishments and outstanding promise of further research productivity in Analysis with specialization in the areas of von Neumann algebras, operator theory and closely related fields. The research expertise of the applicant should interface well with the existing research strength within the Department in the areas of non-commutative harmonic analysis, non-commutative probability and applications. Applicants must have a doctoral degree. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence or promise of excellence in teaching and graduate supervision, and will be expected to develop a vigorous, externally-funded research program.
