LECTURER IN STATISTICS

The Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, University of Toronto Scarborough, invites applications for a full-time teaching stream position in Statistics at the rank of Lecturer, to begin July 1, 2009.

Candidates should have a post-graduate degree in Statistics or a related field, and must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.

Responsibilities include lecturing, conducting tutorials, grading, and curriculum development in a variety of undergraduate courses. Appointments at the rank of Lecturer may be renewed annually to a maximum of five years. In the fifth year of service, Lecturers shall be reviewed and a recommendation made with respect to promotion to the rank of Senior Lecturer, which is a continuing appointment. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
