   Carleton University : Tenure-Track Position in Applied Analysis

The School of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Applied Analysis, starting July 1, 2009. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or related areas, and a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching. The School is particularly interested in candidates who are active in the areas of Numerical Analysis and/or Applied Differential Equations.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong externally-funded research program, supervise students, as well as develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Prospective faculty can look forward to a dynamic research environment in which collaboration with industry is encouraged. Carleton is located in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, and a major center of advanced technology research and development.
