The Department of Engineering Mathematics and Internetworking at Dalhousie University invites applications for a three year limited term position at the rank of Instructor beginning in September 1, 2016.

We seek an engaged and enthusiastic colleague to complement existing departmental strengths in engineering and applied mathematics teaching, outreach, and professional service.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Engineering Mathematics or a related discipline and will be required to teach undergraduate engineering mathematics courses in a variety of areas, such as computer programming, object oriented programming, data structures, probability and statistics, linear algebra, vector calculus, differential equations, and numerical methods.

Ability to support the delivery of the Internetworking program and experience teaching large undergraduate courses are assets.

Eligibility for registration as a professional engineer or application for registration as a professional engineer in progress is required.
