Limited-Term Position in Computer Science or Statistics or Applied Mathematics The Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science invites applications for a 9-month limited-term appointment at the Assistant Professor level in Computer Science or Statistics or Applied Mathematics at St. Francis Xavier University. The term of the appointment is from August 1, 2012 – April 26, 2013. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Statistics or Applied Mathematics or closely related field. The successful candidate will teach courses in Computer Science and Statistics. Preference will be given to individuals who exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching. Teaching experience at the university level is desirable.
