MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Western Ontario has a postdoctoral position available in the area of mathematical physics, specifically, loop quantum gravity, spin foams, and related areas of math or physics. The position is for a two year term beginning July 1, 2007 (the start date is flexible). The salary will be $40,000 CDN per year plus a tax free research fund of $1,500. The position will involve teaching two half courses per year, in addition to research. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dan Christensen and will also have the opportunity for interaction with the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo.

Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. in 2004 or later.
