Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in ANALYSIS in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. This position is available for a one-year term (once renewable) beginning July 1, 2004 in the Mathematics Division. The successful applicant is responsible for teaching one half-course per term.
Although this position is not restricted to any particular subfield of analysis, preference will be given to candidates with a proven interest in computational analysis and an ability to work with members of the group including Jon Borwein, Karl Dilcher, Andrea Fraser and Keith Taylor.
The annual salary offered for these positions is $35,000 and there are limited funds to help defray moving expenses.
