The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton campus) invites applications for a tenure track position (starting 1 July, 2003) in theoretical or applied statistics. Interested parties with expertise in related fields (including, but not limited to, probability theory, operations research, and actuarial science) are also strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in statistics or in a related discipline, a demonstrated potential for research, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. An interest in statistical consulting would be an asset.
