Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science
Applications are invited for several tenure track positions in Mathematics or Statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning September 1, 1999. An applicant for a position in statistics should have a Ph.D. (or have nearly completed the degree requirements) in statistics (or a closely related field), and be able to offer undergraduate courses in statistics. An applicant for a position in mathematics should have a Ph.D. and be able to offer undergraduate courses in applications of mathematics to one or more of engineering, the life sciences or business. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to high quality teaching, and who are likely to obtain external research funding.
