The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Concordia University invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Probability and Statistics, starting July 1, 2001. The first position is in Applied Probability with strong preference to expertise in Reliability Theory, Queuing Theory, or Statistical Simulation. The second position is in Statistics with strong preference to expertise in Multivariate Analysis, Time Series Analysis. or Survival Analysis.

Applicants should have a proven record of research, and familiarity with computational techniques. They should have a demonstrated interest in teaching both at the undergraduate and graduate level. The positions are normally at the rank of an Assistant Professor.
